Our History

A spin-off made in Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech

The Integrated and Urban Phytopathology Laboratory (LPIU) from the Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech has been studying the protective properties of Essential Oils as biological fungicide and herbicide for 10 years. Based on the positive scientific results, APEO was created on January 2021. The goals are to find, develop, register and commercialize or licence Plant Protection Products based on organic substances. A portfolio of biological herbicides is under development targeting both Professional Agriculture and Home & Garden markets.
